Deputy Blackwood’s Letterbox
Setting up his door and Letterbox was last on his list of duties to get ready for the upcoming term. The Badger Knocker, a leftover from the last Head of House was a nice touch, so it was allowed to stay. Not just your ordinary means to alert your arrival, the bras knocker would also "welcome" students to his office.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" It might ask, when a student came to call.
"Whatch'ya got there? A lettah? Did'ya check it for spelling misshaps? I'd check if I was you."
"The Sir's in a foul mood, best not bother him."
If they found themselves brave enough to leave a letter, it would enter the slot then immediately get sorted on the Deputy Headmaster's desk into piles. Important, Magical Issues or junk. The magical issues pile typically far outweighing the others.
