Care of Magical Creatures Classroom
Due to the practical and hands-on nature of this subject, students will not find themselves spending a tremendous amount of time in the Care of Magical Creatures classroom. However, when such classes arise, the students will receive their instruction from inside the old barn not far off from the menagerie.
There are no seats or desks set out for the students. Instead, there are bundles of hay placed in two, semi-circuluar rows. Each stack can seat two students--three if you're determined enough or small. The lack of desks forces any who wish to stabilise their parchment while writing to either employ the sturdiness of their textbooks or sit on the ground to use their section of hay as a desk.
At the front of these two rows is a small barrel upon which Maddox will typically sit while delivering whatever theoretical knowledge has forced them inside.
Noticeably, there is no desk for the professor either. This can be found atop the loft that sits on the opposite end of the room from the seating area. Climbing the ladder, one will find the man has made for himself a second office to avoid having to make too many trips all the way back to the castle. Along with a desk is a chair for himself and a stack of hay for whoever chooses to visit. There is also a plush rug he would thank you not to step on while up there. It is not tremendously big, you have no reason to trample on it.
Down in the barn, students will find themselves standing on dirt due to the unpaved ground. It is soft and absent too many stones or small specks.
The beams that hold the structure upright are adorned with small lanterns for the late-night creature enthusiasts and the man when he chooses to remain a while longer.
