Schedule

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Mondays & Fridays: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Office Hours
Etain can be found in her office between 3:00-5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. If that time doesn’t work, Etain will meet with students outside those hours on an individual basis. When she's in her office, the door will swing open all on its own in the presence of a student. Otherwise, the door remains closed. Individual appointments can be made via her letterbox.

Rules

IC:
. Transfiguration is a challenging, theory-based subject, very systematic and exacting in nature. Be prepared for lectures, for spells, spell theory, and spellcasting.
. Please be on time. The door will lock two minutes past the class start time.
. Snacks are allowed, but please remember that cleaning up is your responsibility. Don’t ruin it for others.
. Don’t annoy Eris. She’s named after the Goddess of Discord for a reason.

OOC:
. Follow the site rules at all times.
. Follow the site rating.
. Ask permission before power-playing any student(s). Be sure to include a note saying you have permission.
. Reach out if you would like to disrupt class before posting the disruption.
. Be patient with your fellow writers. Everyone has RL things going on, too.

Etain

Appearing to be in her mid to late thirties, Etain Mómhar Battersea is a statuesque, graceful woman with long black hair typically tied in a bun and seemingly held in place by a pair of black chopsticks and piercing emerald eyes. The Ravenclaw alumnus is reputed to have mastered the discipline of magic that she teaches.

A known Auror with over a dozen or more names in Azkaban by her hand, Etain currently has four children at Hogwarts: Aidan Sedric Battersea (7th), Victorian Kathleeen Battersea, and Vailintín Kincaid Battersea (both 5th year) in Ravenclaw, and Gwyllim Battersea (3rd Year) in Hufflepuff. All four children are somewhat baffled by her appearance here at Hogwarts—happy to see her, but baffled.

An eerily serene, unflappable woman, nicknamed by friend and foe alike as The Eye of the Storm, Etain has given no indication that she’s retired from her life as an Auror.
